I first met Ashley when I was wedding planning a few years ago. She worked at a jewelry store and was key in helping me to pick out and design jewelry for myself, my mother and bridesmaids. Ashley has such an eye for fashion and the jewelry turned out stunning!! Ashley and I always did a lot of chit-chatting and I was sad when the designing came to an end however I still run into her from time to time and was SO excited when we got started talking about doing this fun photo shoot! Ashley wanted to do two themes that spoke to both her and her husband’s personalities. The first was on John’s family’s gorgeous land with one of their horses and the second was a Mad Men inspired shoot at Wildcat Den Park in Iowa, Swoon!! I heart their pictures and love that I get to meet and photograph people who are as kind and warm hearted as the two of them.
